Thank you to Mrs Marriott and Linda for coordinating, and to all the families who braved the weather to help out around the school grounds. Despite the small turn-out, we managed to:
- make progress on clearing the drain between the classrooms and the outdoor hall;
- plant sunflower seeds in the garden beds behind the Year 4+5 classrooms;
- spread wildflower seeds around the perimeter of the grassy areas of the playground;
- tidy the shed in the Foundation Garden;
- assemble new little wheelbarrows for the kids to play with in the Foundation Garden;
- re-paint the blue posts in the Foundation Garden;
- sweep the school car par;
- move unused equipment, now in the car park, so it’s out of the way; and
- remove a lot of rubbish from hard to reach places (thanks to the keen kids who did a very thorough job!).
