The Friends of Larkrise (Oxford) adopted the Parentkind model constitution (version 2018) on 18 September 2018.

In summary, it states the following:
- Association details: The official name of the association is “Friends of Larkrise (Oxford)” . The committee must have at least 2 members.
- Purposes: The object of the association is to advance the education of pupils at the school by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents, and others associated with the school, and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.
- Powers: The committee members/trustees may work with other people and organisations; hold bank account(s); raise, manage, spend and invest funds; and take out public liability insurance.
- Membership: All parents/guardians/carers of current pupils, plus all current staff are automatically members, plus any adults who have been accepted by the committee as a member.
- General Meetings (Annual and Extraordinary): Members must be notified of the date, time, location and an overview of the agenda for meetings 21 clear days notice. Meetings are quorate when the total number of attendees is at least twice the number of committee members, and run by the Chair. At an AGM, members receive the accounts for the previous year, receive a committee report, elect the committee for the next year, appoint an independent auditor (if required). An EGM may be called by the committee, or a request from at least 10 members.
- Committee: All members of the committee are trustees of the charity, and have control of the association, its property, and funds. The committee is elected by members at the annual AGM. Co-opted committee members are elected by the committee (maximum is up to 50% of the total number of committee members/trustees).
- Committee Meetings: Must have at least 3 meetings each academic year. Quorum is 50% of the total number of committee members (rounded up to the nearest whole number). Every decision is by a majority of the votes cast. A resolution in writing, signed by all committee members/trustees, is equally valid, and considered passed on the date of the last signature.
- Powers of Committee: The committee may delegate to sub-committees which consist of at least one committee member/trustee plus at least one other member.
- Property & Funds: The committee can enter into contracts for goods or services. Committee members must disclose personal interests relevant to matters discussed at a meeting.
- Records & Accounts: The committee must comply with The Charities Act 2011 for the keeping of financial records, the audit of accounts, and the preparation of annual reports, returns and statements of account for the Charity Commission. The committee must keep proper records of all proceedings at AGMs, EGMs, committee meetings and sub-committee reports. Annual reports and statements of account must be made available to any member of the association. The committee must notify the Charity Commission of any changes to the entry on the register of Charities.
- Notices: Notices of any AGMs and EGMs may be distributed on paper or electronically.
- Amendments: The constitution may be amended at a general meeting by a two thirds majority of votes cast, and a copy of the resolution sent to the Charity Commission within 21 days of it being passed.
- Dissolution: The association may be dissolved at an AGM or EGM.
